The Stream Option (Fantasy Football 2021 – Week 13)

Reflection Section – Week 12 Finishes

Cam Newton – QB30
Jimmy Garoppolo – QB21
Evan Engram – TE22
Mo Alie-Cox – TE47 (Jack Doyle was TE1 FYI!)
Philadelphia Eagles – DST17
Houston Texans – DST14

This was not my best week, what the heck happened Cam?! Jimmy G was mundane, and I picked the wrong Colts Tight End, but I did preface my pick with Doyle could easily be the right guy.  Defenses were middle of the road.

Continuing to get better, mastering my process. Here are some fantasy football streamers if you are looking for some streaming options in Week 13. If you ever want to look at where these options sit in rankings, don’t forget to check out The Undroppables Weekly Rankings.

Notable Bye Week Teams

Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Tennessee Titans

Quarterbacks

Taysom Hill vs. Dallas Cowboys

Yahoo Rostership: 23%
ESPN Rostership: 22%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 17th

A tougher matchup this week, but Taysom Hill was recently extended with a contract saying he could potentially earn the starting spot.  This is his first game to prove that.  Look for him to get it done through the air and on the ground against a defense that has given up a lot of yards recently.

Carson Wentz vs. Houston Texans

Yahoo Rostership: 63%
ESPN Rostership: 48.5%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 7th

Truly is amazing that the QB11 on the season is still available in over half the leagues in ESPN, but this is where we are with Carson Wentz.  He gets a division game against the Texans coming off a loss to the New York Jets.  The Colts are right in the playoff hunt, look for them to come out and dominate.  The Colts are also coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Buccaneers, which could be motivation for them to start finishing games.  Start Wentz if you can get him.

Tight Ends

Foster Moreau vs. Washington Football Team

Yahoo Rostership: 16%
ESPN Rostership: 12%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 18th

There is a good chance that Darren Waller misses this game at the minimum, so look for Foster to fill in the top tight end spot once again. The last time he did this was in Week 7, where he went 6 receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown.  He could easily have the same results; he is a very talented athlete that people have forgotten about with the emergence of Waller last season.

Tyler Conklin @ Detroit Lions

Yahoo Rostership: 32%
ESPN Rostership: 38%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 19th

Little desperate at this position, we look for Conklin to potentially do well against the zone defense of the Lions.  With Dalvin Cook missing time, they could potentially look to him to fill in the gap of targets, and let’s be honest…. it’s the Lions.  If you need 50 yards and touchdown upside, Conklin is the start for you this week.

Defense/Special Teams

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

Yahoo Rostership: 33%
ESPN Rostership: 11%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 10th

The Chiefs have figured things out on defense, allowing less than 12 points per game in the last four games.  They are getting consistent pressure and have at least 2 turnovers in the last three games. Coming off a bye week, Andy Reid should have a great game plan on handling the Broncos offense.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets

Yahoo Rostership: 58%
ESPN Rostership: 55%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 5th

Targeting against the Jets again this week and using the same defense I picked last week. The defense is having issues getting pressure consistently, but the Jets’ offensive line should be able to help with that this week.  Darius Slay has been explosive when he has gotten turnovers this year, look for them to have a touchdown as well on defense.

I was asked to join a fantasy football league in High School and I haven't been the same since. I love the competitive nature, the communities it builds, and the thinking and content that can be created. I am hoping to connect to larger audiences in helping them grow into becoming knowledgable managers and I am open to discussions.
