Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:

💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations

💰 Money Makers

Quarterbacks

Ben Roethlisberger

The Steelers are playing against the Ravens in Week 18. The Ravens give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. The Ravens have given up multiple touchdowns in 5 straight games. One of those games was in Week 13 when Roethlisberger threw for 236 yards and 2 touchdowns. Big Ben goes out with a bang in Week 18.

$6,700 on Fanduel

Taysom Hill

The Saints play the Falcons in Week 18. The Falcons give up an average of 252 yards and 2 touchdowns weekly to opponents passing game. Hill figure to run and to pass this week against the Falcons. With the Saints in the hunt to determine their playoff position at 8-8, you can expect Hill to play the entire game with the pedal to the metal. Win some with Taysom.

$6,200 on DraftKings
$7,700 on Fanduel

Davis Mills

Mills gets to play the Titans and their bottom 10 defense in Week 18. The Titans have given up double-digit points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks in 11 of the last 12 games, only the Jaguars Trevor Lawrence was unable to achieve this. We know that is pretty much expected. Mills has double-digit fantasy scores in 3 of his last four games. If this was the military General Mills would be saying cheerio in Week 18.

Running Backs

Devin Singletary

The Jets give up an average of 118 yards rushing, 55 yards receiving, and 2 touchdowns per week to opposing teams running backs. Singletary has been a Bell Cow running back for the Bills for 4 straight weeks. Now he gets the Jets in a game that means a lot to the Bills. More Bell Cow!

$6,000 on DraftKings
$6,700 on Fanduel

Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor, do I really need to say anything other than his name? Let’s put it this way, the Colts need the win, Taylor is their best offensive player. They are playing against the Jaguars, where Taylor had 116 yards rushing, 10 yards receiving, and a touchdown against in Week 10. Week 18 is Taylor made for his skill set.

$9,300 on DraftKings
$10,200 on Fanduel

D’Onta Foreman

Foreman scored double-digit fantasy points in 3 out of the last 4 weeks. In Week 18 he gets to play against the Texans and the 4th friendliest defense against running backs in fantasy. The Titans are still jostling for playoff position, meanwhile, this game means almost nothing to the Texans. Foreman and the Titans will run, run away with this.

Wide Receivers

Darnell Mooney

Do you know who gives up the most points to wide receivers in fantasy? That would be the Vikings. Do you know who plays the Vikings in Week 18? That would be Da Bears. The number 1 wide receiver on the Bears is Mooney. In Week 15 he had 5 receptions for 63 against the Vikings. Mooney will see the targets, he will get the receptions and in Week 18 he will score a touchdown.

$5,900 on DraftKings
$6,300 on Fanduel

Brandin Cooks

Cooks has 87 receptions, 1009 yards, and 6 touchdowns for the season so far. Cooks has a 26% target share and a whopping 39% air yards share in this Texans passing game. I was excited for Cooks last week and I am again for Week 18. In Week 17 Cooks had 7 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. The most unloved wide receiver in fantasy will get cooking again in Week 18.

$6,300 on DraftKings
$7,100 on Fanduel

Marquez Callaway

In Week 17 Callaway saw 10 targets which he turned into 6 receptions and 97 yards. Taysom Hill likes to throw the ball to him. The Saints play the Falcons who are the fourth friendliest defense to wide receivers in fantasy. The Falcons give up 14 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown weekly to wide receivers. All the way with Callaway in Week 18.

Tight Ends

Zach Ertz

Ertz has seen 33 targets over the past 3 weeks. He has a 25% target share in the Cardinals passing game during this span. In Week 18, he draws a Seahawks defense that gives up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing teams’ tight ends. I am playing Ertz even if you think it hurts this week.

$5,300 on DraftKings
$5,600 on Fanduel

Pat Freiermuth

The Ravens give up the 5th most fantasy points to tight ends. Freiermuth has an 11% target share for the Steelers and he is second on the team in receiving touchdowns with 7. The stars are aligning for ‘Muth in Week 18, especially with Roethlisberger looking to go out with a bang.

$4,600 on DraftKings
$5,200 on Fanduel

Mark Andrews

Andrews has a 24% target share of the Ravens’ passing game. He has 99 receptions, 1276 yards, and 9 touchdowns on the season. He only had 4 receptions for 50 yards in his last meeting with the Steelers but he had 9 targets in that game. The Ravens are 8-8 with a lot on the line, they will be playing to win this game

💔Heart Breakers

Quarter Backs

Zach Wilson

The Bills are the top-rated defense against quarterbacks in fantasy. Wilson is a rookie that has been playing well the past month. With the Bills looking to make a statement and win the division, I think they go at Wilson hard. Wilson may be calling for his hot mommy after this one, he will need a hug.

Tua Tagovailoa

The Patriots have been playing great. Tua has also been playing well. In the last game against the Pats, Tua had 202 yards and a touchdown. Both teams are playing for playoff positioning here and will come with everything they have. The second toughest defense against quarterbacks in fantasy is going to bring it to Tua this week.

Tom Brady

I know, I know. Mike, this is Tom freaking Brady we are talking about here. How the heck can you have him as a heartbreaker. Well, let me tell you a story. In Week 16 Tompa Bay played against the Carolina Panthers, the same team they play this week. Brady had 232 yards and a touchdown, it’s not bad but it’s not Tom Brady good. The Panthers give up the fourth-fewest points in fantasy to quarterbacks. No thank you in DFS.

Running Backs

Cordarelle Patterson

The Saints are the toughest team on running backs in fantasy. I know last time Patterson played the Saints he scorched them receiving for 6 receptions and 126 yards. But Patterson hasn’t hit double-digit fantasy points in 4 games, and the Falcons really aren’t playing for anything.

Rex Burkhead

Burkhead has looked like a stud the past two games. He has produced doubles digit scores in both games. The Titans are the second toughest team against running backs in fantasy. The Texans’ season is almost over while the Titans a playing for playoff position. Rexy is not sexy this week.

Chuba Hubbard

The Buccaneers are a top-three defense against running backs. I don’t like Hubbard. I don’t have much more to say about him other than that even if his salary fits your DFS line up please do not plug him in. This isn’t a punt play it’s a give your money away play.

Wide Receivers

Marquise Brown

The Ravens are playing the Steelers in Week 18. In Week 13 Brown had 5 receptions for 55 yards against this Steelers team. I simply like the passing game to go through Andrews in Week 18. The offense will also be run-heavy as always. Do not ask what Brown can do for you this week.

Christian Kirk

The Seahawks give up the 9th fewest points to wide receivers. In the last game against the Seahawks, Kirk had only 2 receptions for 25 yards. His target share is high right now for the Cardinals but I am liking the other options for the Cardinals this week.

Ja’Marr Chase

The Bengals have nothing to play for. Mixon is sitting, Burrow is most likely sitting, Chase may also be sitting. There is no reason to chase his Week 17 points into Week 18.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki

The Patriots are literally the toughest defense against tight ends in fantasy. The Patriots have given up one double-digit fantasy game to a tight end since Week 6. Nothing about this game makes me think Gesicki will perform well.

Gerald Everett

Everett has looked pretty good lately. The Seahawks play the Cardinals in Week 18. The Cardinals are the second toughest defense against tight ends for fantasy purposes. In Week 11 Everett had 3 receptions for 37 yards against this defense, expect much of that in Week 18.

Tyler Higbee

The last time the Rams met the Niners Higbee caught a touchdown. He still didn’t break double-digit fantasy points. It’s been 10 games since a tight end has scored double-digit fantasy points against the Cardinals’ defense. It will be 11 after this week.
