Imagine if you added Deon Jackson before Week 6 and played him. He was the highest-scoring running back for Week 6 (excluding the Monday night game). That would be a great feeling, wouldn’t it? I did it in a couple of redraft leagues. I wish I had played him in DFS as well. He looks like he needs to get more playing time in the Colts’ passing game for the rest of the season; the ply produces.
And this season’s production has been very inconsistent across the board. Consistency is key. We need as many players weekly as possible for redraft in your lineup. For instance, guys like Alec Pierce and Josh Reynolds have been producing consistently relatively high floors for three weeks. Yet, I still have their names in this article—week after week. Add guys like this to your team; they will help you tremendously during the bye weeks and maybe every week. Let’s get some of that weekly production.
Now, let me help you untangle that wire for Week 7.

Quarterbacks
Matt Ryan
In Week 6, Matty Ice threw for 389 yards and three touchdowns, his best game of the season. If you are looking for a potential streamer in Week 7, he is probably your guy. In Week 7, The Colts will play the Titans. The Titans’ defense gives up the 6th most points to quarterbacks in fantasy. Every quarterback that has played against the Titans has thrown multiple touchdowns this season, and only one did not pass for over 300 yards—starting to look like a Money Maker to me.

Marcus Mariota
I believe the Konami Code for quarterbacks is that they run as well as pass. Mariota has run for over 50 yards in the past two games and had a rushing touchdown in Week 6. The Falcons’ game plan is to grind it out with the running game on opponents, including Mariota running the ball. Marcus also passed for two touchdowns in Week 6. Next up, the Bengals.

Taylor Heinicke
Carson Wentz will be out for approximately 4 weeks with a fractured finger. Last season Heinicke passed for 3419 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also ran for 313 yards and a touchdown. I like Jimmy Garoppolo more but if you are needy especially for a bye week fill in you could do much worse.

- Jimmy Garoppolo – 296 yards passing, 2 TDs
- Tua Tagovailao – dropped in some leagues

Running Backs
Kenyan Drake
Maybe the biggest name on the waiver wire this week. Drake had 119 yards and a touchdown on ten carries. He was terrific running the ball in Week 6. The Browns are next, and they are the third friendliest team to running backs in fantasy. With Dobbins and every other running back on the Ravens dinged up, Drake looks like an excellent option for Week 7.

Deon Jackson
Deon had ten targets for ten receptions, 79 yards, and rushed 12 times for 42 yards and a touchdown. He has played well enough to carve himself out a portion of the touches once Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines are back to playing. Jackson did leave with a quad injury late in the game. Jackson has been amazingly effective for the Colts the past two weeks

- Rachaad White – 12 yards rushing, three receptions, 11 receiving yards

Wide Receivers
Tyquan Thorton
When you have numbers like Thornton, did you get mentioned in Untangling the Wire? Three carries for 16 yards, a touchdown rushing, four receptions for 37 yards, and another touchdown. Thornton made himself right at home on the Patriots.

Chase Claypool
Claypool saw seven targets which he turned into seven receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. In Week 5, Claypool saw nine targets as well. He is getting more involved in the passing offense for the Steelers. Claypool should be rostered in all leagues.

Wan’Dale Robinson
He finally hit the field for the Giants. I added him on Saturday myself in multiple leagues. Wan’Dale came through with three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Week 6. It was apparent in the preseason he would be involved in the Giants’ passing game. His first game played as a pro shows lots of promise.

Tight Ends
Hunter Henry
He is mentioned in this article as someone you might want to consider. Likewise, Henry is someone to consider adding. In Week 6, Henry had four receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. Over the past three weeks, he has been increasingly more involved in the Patriots offense.

Daniel Bellinger
Bellinger has scored a touchdown in 3 out of 5 games this season. In Week 6, he saw the most targets this season with 5. He turned that into five receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. He is carving out a position in the Giants’ offense more and more every week.
