If my math is correct, that’s about 12 million balls.

In this weekly DFS article, The Undroppables goes over the top salaried players in both DraftKings and FanDuel to provide his take on who you should play and which players to avoid. Using this article to help construct your rosters, you will better understand who to pay up to win you some money.

Quarterbacks

Paying Up – C.J. Stroud vs. Arizona Cardinals (Ranked 24th vs. fantasy QBs)

DraftKings – $7,000
FanDuel – $8,000

Stroud has been on an absolute tear as of late. That is going to continue against a bad Cardinals defense. With Kyler back, the Cardinals will score some; Stroud will have to sling it! This price is too low.

Avoiding – Josh Allen vs. New York Jets (Ranked 7th vs. fantasy QBs)

DraftKings – $8,200
FanDuel – $9,000

Josh Allen loves giving the ball to the other team. The Jets give up nothing to fantasy quarterbacks. Not only is there no chance Allen will go into my DFS lineups, but I question starting him in redraft this week.

Running Backs

Paying Up – David Montogomery vs. Chicago Bears (Ranked 20th vs. fantasy RBs)

DraftKings – $6,500
FanDuel – $7,700

Revenge game!!! Montgomery will split more time with Jahmyr Gibbs, but it doesn’t matter. He is a touchdown machine and has a great offensive line to go against a terrible defense in the Bears this week.

Avoiding – Saquon Barkley @ Washington Commanders (Ranked 16th vs. fantasy RBs)

DraftKings – $7,100
FanDuel – $7,600

The Giants’ offense is a mess. Barkley is getting touches, but there’s nothing to do with them. Washington already has a good run defense and will be stacking the box. Barkley is way overpriced.

Wide Receivers

Paying Up – DeAndre Hopkins @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Ranked 19th vs. fantasy WRs)

DraftKings – $6,100
FanDuel – $6,700

Hopkins has found new life with Will Levis, and the Jaguars defense has been struggling. While I don’t expect another 3 TD games from Nuk, I hope to get a significant return on investment at that price tag.

Avoiding – Amari Cooper vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (Ranked 27th vs. fantasy WRs)

DraftKings – $6,200
FanDuel – $7,300

Browns starting a rookie QB against a defense that historically eats up rookie QBs. I expect a low-scoring game overall, and Cooper is entirely irrelevant.

The Flex Factor | Week 11

Figuring out your flex spots can be the difference between winning and losing your weekly matchup. In this weekly series presented by Flex Fantasy, we’ll look at sleeper running backs and wide receivers outside the consensus top 50 who should be locked in your lineups.

Sam LaPorta

The Lions rookie TE is currently the TE4 in PPR and has been a consistent force all season. He’s only missed double-digit points once and hasn’t had to rely on touchdowns for PPR production. Detroit faces the Bears this week who have been a favorable matchup for tight ends.

Trey McBride

In Kyler Murray’s first game back, McBride put up 131 receiving yards on 8 catches for a massive outing. The second year pro led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards. With a Week 11 game against the Texans, McBride is lined up for another big day as Kyler has traditionally fed his tight ends.

Dalton Kincaid

This week’s plays are all young TEs and Kincaid fits the bill, no pun intended. The Buffalo rookie has been on a complete tear since missing Week 6, scoring over 18 PPR points over the last month. The Bills may be struggling but Kincaid is doing his part to keep the team in games with 32 targets and 28 receptions over the past 4 games.

Are you in the playoff hunt? Have you secured a playoff spot and need to get some players with upside for your championship run? We are here to help! Keep coming back to The Undroppables for all your fantasy football advice!

QUARTERBACKS

Jameis Winston (New Orleans Saints)

Yahoo – 0% Rostered
ESPN – 0% Rostered
Sleeper – 2% Rostered

Are we getting back Jameis Winston?! The gunslinger stepped in for the injured Derek Carr and immediately started throwing more down the field. This would be excellent for fantasy, but the Saints are on a bye in Week 11 and could give Carr time to rest and heal. Winston could be a fun stash, depending on how bad the shoulder injury is for Derek Carr.

Tommy Devito (New York Giants)

Yahoo – 2% Rostered
ESPN – 1% Rostered
Sleeper – 5% Rostered

Before I get made fun of and possibly be the only person to suggest adding Tommy, hear out my reasoning. He had seven rushes for 41 yards, which is nice to see again in this offense. This offense’s best performance was when they played Washington in Week 7. It wasn’t Tommy leading it, but they had a plan against that team and could execute similarly. It’s a desperate flier, but I think there is some reasoning to looking at him if injuries and bye weeks are hurting you.

RUNNING BACKS

Devin Singletary (Houston Texans)

Yahoo – 50% Rostered
ESPN – 50% Rostered
Sleeper – 54% Rostered

I called it back in Week 9; the apparent path happened with Dameon Pierce being injured. Singletary had a career week in Week 10; I can see he has earned more touches in the future. He’s a great addition to your roster and still available in half of the leagues.

Ty Chandler (Minnesota Vikings)

Yahoo – 8% Rostered
ESPN – 3% Rostered
Sleeper – 15% Rostered

With more injuries in the Vikings backfield, Ty Chandler was put into action and stepped up. Finding the endzone in his call to action, look for Ty to help out this offense that is starting to get better with the Joshua Dobbs acquisition.  If he takes over, he is a low-risk addition to your roster with some significant upside.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Brandin Cooks (Dallas Cowboys)

Yahoo – 28% Rostered
ESPN – 50% Rostered
Sleeper – 49% Rostered

What a fantastic week for Brandin Cooks! He looks to finish as the WR3 on the week, pending Monday Night Football, with 173 receiving yards on ten targets (nine receptions) and a touchdown.  It was his best game of the season, and they will play the Carolina Panthers the following week. Look for this momentum to carry over.

Noah Brown (Houston Texans)

Yahoo – 24% Rostered
ESPN – 25% Rostered
Sleeper – 36% Rostered

It feels like chasing points with throwing up Noah Brown in this article, but back-to-back weeks with monster yardage games may not be a fluke.  Nico Collins’ injury opened the way for Noah to step up, but C.J. Stroud is elevating everyone in this offense. Noah proves he will step up if there are any other injuries, so it’s essential to stash him on your bench for playoffs.

TIGHT ENDS

Tanner Hudson (Cincinnati Bengals)

Yahoo – 0% Rostered
ESPN – 0% Rostered
Sleeper – 0% Rostered

This is a deep stash, but Tanner has been involved in the past two weeks. Back-to-back finishes with 9 PPR points; that is an excellent floor for the TE position, and he hasn’t caught a touchdown yet.  I like that floor in a position that has a lot of volatility.

Luke Musgrave (Green Bay Packers)

Yahoo – 23% Rostered
ESPN – 17% Rostered
Sleeper – 30% Rostered

Another player we have written about, Luke, seems to be getting back involved in those deep shots.  Strong finishes in the last two weeks, and if you watched the highlights for Musgrave on Week 10, you will see he was missed in the endzone for another touchdown.  I hope Jordan Love can fix his deep throw accuracy because this offense would be electric.

BUZZCUTS

Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys)

We are now approaching him being cuttable at this point of the season. You can look to bench Tony if you have better options. He is not involved in the offense and is ineffective when he is. I was very wrong about him entering the season; I will definitely take the L on this.

The Flex Factor | Week 10

Figuring out your flex spots can be the difference between winning and losing your weekly matchup. In this weekly series presented by Flex Fantasy, we’ll look at sleeper running backs and wide receivers outside the consensus top 50 who should be locked in your lineups.

Since this column launched on Week 7, we’ve gone 7 out of 9 on calls (78%), freshly minted with Tank Dell’s explosion against the Bucs (6 receptions, 114 yards, 2 TDs). Scoring at least 12 PPR points or a TD is what we’re hoping for and so far it’s been solid. We’ll keep it rolling with these picks this week:

Najee Harris

Najee’s season has been a disappointment (currently RB30 in PPR) but Harris has put up some good numbers since the Steelers Week 6 bye. Coming off his best game of the season, Najee has strong RB2 upside this week against the Packers. Projected at 15 carries and 4 targets, the inefficient veteran has the volume needed for a high floor albeit low ceiling.

Dalton Schultz

Schultz is finally producing alongside rookie QB CJ Stroud and should continue the trend in Week 10. This matchup against the Bengals offers shootout potential. We rarely would recommend starting a TE in your flex position in your traditional PPR formats, but Schultz is starting to look like a strong stream option as we near the fantasy playoffs.

Demario Douglas

Admittedly, this is going out on a limb a bit as Douglas has never even put up 12 PPR points before but his usage has been promising over the past 2 weeks (80% of snaps) given the injuries to the Patriots WR core. The rookie has averaged about 10 PPR points over the last 3 games and he’s seen at least 6 targets in each game during that span. The injuries and bye weeks are impacting rosters this week so fire up Douglas for a double-digit floor in your flex with upside for more if he can score his first career TD.

Quarterbacks

Paying Up – Jared Goff @ Los Angeles Chargers (Ranked 31st vs. fantasy QBs)

DraftKings – $6,400
FanDuel – $8,000

The Chargers’ defense looked good this past week… but that was against the Jets’ anemic offense. This week, the 31st fantasy defense against QBs faces a much more potent Lions offense, and I expect that offense to continue to put up points.

Avoiding – Trevor Lawrence vs. San Francisco 49ers (Ranked 9th vs. fantasy QBs)

DraftKings – $6,000
FanDuel – $7,100

The 49ers are a team desperate to get things back on track. I expect their defense to come out flying this week, and I am avoiding the Jaguars’ passing game at all costs. Trevor has been good but not great this season, with only one game with over 300 passing yards and two separate games with more than one touchdown.

Running Backs

Paying Up – Joe Mixon vs. Houston Texans (Ranked 24th vs. fantasy RBs)

DraftKings – $6,200
FanDuel – $7,700

The Bengals offense is finally starting to look like we all expected them to. Houston’s run defense enjoys giving up fantasy points to running backs. All this equals a massive game for Mixon. Mixon is also coming off two straight weeks with a touchdown; let’s make it a hat trick!

Avoiding – Alvin Kamara @ Minnesota Vikings (Ranked 7th vs. fantasy RBs)

DraftKings – $8,300
FanDuel – $8,800

The Saints’ offense has been struggling, and Minnesota’s defense is the #7 team against fantasy running backs. This is way too high of a price I’m willing to pay for Kamara. He had his first single-digit game in PPR formats last week against a good Bears’ run defense. He might project a similar outcome.

Wide Receivers

Paying Up – Brandin Cooks vs. New York Giants (Ranked 19th vs. fantasy WRs)

DraftKings – $4,200
FanDuel – $5,300

The Giants are getting worse by the week. We all know CeeDee Lamb will get his share, but Cooks should also feast. He’s a value hard to pass on at such a low price. Cooks have been more involved in the past few weeks after returning from an injury.

Avoiding – Amari Cooper @ Baltimore Ravens (Ranked 2nd vs. fantasy WRs)

DraftKings – $6,300
FanDuel – $7,100

The Ravens’ defense is making opposing offenses look silly right now, and Deshaun Watson continues to look like every other Browns QB in their history. I wouldn’t pay for Cooper with your money.
