We review Robert Woods’ week 12 performance against the San Francisco 49ers. A typical floor performance for the veteran WR who should be added to all win now teams. He’s a fringe WR1 who will have a contract year in 2021 and can help you hoist the trophy in 2020. He’s a must add on all fantasy teams.
Money Makers and Heart Breakers (Fantasy Football 2020 – Week 13)
We are finally into December, which means the Holidays are in full swing and the Fantasy Playoffs are coming.
Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, and Omisoka all occur in December. The season of giving is upon us. This holiday season, we are hoping to give you the gift of fantasy football success. I hope you all find some joy, happiness and peace through December. If you would like to know some more about the Holidays mentioned above and how they are celebrated, please read December Holidays Around the World. Give that a read and see how The Undroppables are similar to the Yule Lads of Iceland, giving you different gifts each day.
If you are new around here, this is how it works:
Money Maker – I think this person will perform well this week and be better than projections
Heart Breaker – These players will not meet projections
Quarterbacks
💰 Money Makers
Taysom Hill ($7,700 on FanDuel and $6,300 on DraftKings)
Two weeks ago, Hill threw for 233 yards against the Falcons and ran for 49 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hill also ran for 2 touchdowns in Week 13. This week Hill gets the Falcons again. It is not pretty, but Hill is effective at getting you fantasy points.
Kirk Cousins ($7,300 on FanDuel and $6,400 on DraftKings)
Cousins has thrown for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in each of the last two games. The Jaguars are up in Week 13, and they suck against quarterbacks; literally they suck. They are the third friendliest defense to quarterbacks out there.
Kirk Cousins in the 4th quarter today:
12/15 for 136 yards, 2 TDs, passer rating 144.0…for the season:
62/85 for 792 yards, 11 TDs, 1 INT, passer rating 136.4 (1st in NFL)— Krauser (@Krauserrific) November 29, 2020
Tua Tagovailoa ($6,700 on FanDuel and $5,900 on DraftKings)
To be honest, I was hoping to fill this space with Ryan Fitzpatrick and not Tua. The Dolphins play the Bengals in Week 13, and the Bengals give up and average of 250 yards and a touchdown a game to the pass. Fitzy hit them up for 3 touchdowns in Week 6. Whoever starts for Miami is looking good.
Other quarterbacks I like in week 5:
There is the obvious: Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Deshaun Watson
The not so obvious: Mitchell Trubisky, Justin Herbert and Derek Carr
💔 Heart Breakers
Kyler Murray
Murray is having a great season. But in Week 12 the Patriots defense ate him up. In Week 13 he gets to play the second toughest defense out there against quarterbacks, The Rams. If you have him you are playing him. Tough game coming this week, so avoid in DFS completely
Matthew Stafford
Stafford was OK against the Bears in Week 1; he threw for 297 yards and a touchdown. That is his ceiling this week against a Bears defense that is 4th toughest on the passing game. The Bears give up an average of 238 yards and a touchdown to quarterbacks weekly and have not given up a 300 yard game this season.
Philip Rivers
Rivers has thrown for 300 yards or multiple touchdowns in 5 of the last 6 games. The Texans are a top 10 defense against the pass. This is a 250 yards and a TD game for Rivers. Not a top-12 performance.
Other quarterbacks to avoid: Matt Ryan, Josh Allen, and Carson Wentz
Running Backs
💰 Money Makers
Miles Sanders ($7,200 on FanDuel and $6,700 on DraftKings)
The Packers are pathetic against the run. The Eagles play the Packers in Week 13. Sanders has been very much “meh” the past two weeks. If the Packers can’t make him look like a top-10 running back, then no one can.
David Montgomery ($6,200 on FanDuel and $5,500 on DraftKings)
The Lions are really bad against running backs, like worst in the league bad. I mean even Duke Johnson scored on them last week. Meanwhile, Montgomery looked really good last week, hitting the Packers up for 103 yards rushing and another 40 yards and a touchdown receiving.
According to the @RotoViz Strength of Schedule Streaming App, the Chicago Bears RBs have the easiest remaining schedule.
David Montgomery could be a great, relatively inexpensive addition to your team as you look to make a run.
— Sam Wallace (@SWallace_FF) December 2, 2020
Nyheim Hines ($6,400 on FanDuel and $5,300 on DraftKings)
Hines had 8 receptions for 66 yards against the Titans in Week 12. The Titans are not great against running backs. In Week 13, the Colts play the Texans. The Texans are really bad against running backs, they are the third worst team in the NFL at defending against running backs. You see where this is going. Play Hines, especially in PPR.
Other running backs to play:
The obvious: Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, Nick Chubb, and Derrick Henry
The not so obvious: James Robinson and James White
💔 Heart Breakers
Todd Gurley
Gurley is back at practice. When the Falcons played the Saints in Week 11, Gurley had 29 total yards.. The Saints are really good at defending running backs, like best in the league good at it. Gurley is playing the Saints again in Week 13. Don’t play Gurley in your fantasy line up.
Antonio Gibson
Gibson has been on a tear the past 5 games played. This week, Gibson gets to play against the Steelers defense. The Steelers haven’t given up a rushing touchdown since Week 8. The Steelers have only given up 100 yards rushing to one running back this season. Gibson will struggle in Week 13.
Kenyan Drake
Drake has looked really good since coming back from his injury. The Cardinals play the Rams in Week 13. This Rams defense is for real and has not given up 100 yards rushing yet this season. It will be difficult for Drake in Week 13, as touchdowns don’t come easy against the Rams as well.
Other running backs that will cost you in Week 8: David Johnson and Devin Singletary
Wide Receivers
💰 Money Makers
Sterling Shepard ($5,600 on FanDuel and $5,300 on DraftKings)
In the last five games Shepard has not had less than 6 receptions. Last week against the Bengals Shepard has a 21% target share that brought him 8 targets and 6 receptions for 64 yards. This week he is playing against the Seahawks and the friendliest defense for wide receivers in the NFL.
Stat of the Night:
Giants WR Sterling Shepard has now been targeted at least six times in 18 consecutive games
(excluding Week 2 when he left hurt after 15 snaps)
— Mike Clay (@MikeClayNFL) October 23, 2020
Willie Snead
Snead and Lamar Jackson were both out in Week 12. They will both be back in Week 13. In Week 13 the Ravens play The Cowboys and the second suckiest (is that a word?) defense in the NFL against wide receivers. With his 24% target share, this should equal success. Yay Snead!
Nelson Agholor ($5,400 on FanDuel and $5,200 on DraftKings)
Agholor has been seeing a pretty hefty target share for the Raiders. The Raiders struggles in Week 12 against the Falcons. They get to play the Jets in Week 13. No one struggles against the Jets. This will be a nice bounce back game for the Raiders offense, and in turn Agholor.
Other wide receivers to play:
The obvious: Davante Adams, Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, DeAndre Hopkins, and DK Metcalf
The not so obvious: Jarvis Landry, Devante Parker, and DJ Chark
💔 Heart Breakers
Christian Kirk
The past three weeks, Kirk has not scored a touchdown, and proven to be a touchdown or bust player. In Week 13 the Cardinals play the Rams and the number one defense against wide receivers. The touchdown struggles will continue . Say NO to Kirk. He is not your Captain now.
Diontae Johnson
Against the Ravens in Week 12, Johnson saw 13 targets for 8 receptions and 46 yards. YUCK! In Week 13, the Steelers play the Redskins and their second toughest defense against wide receivers. The column will be there in targets, and you are playing him in season long. Avoid in DFS.
Jalen Reagor
Reagor found a way to do less with more in Week 12 against a very friendly defense. He some how turned 7 targets into 3 receptions and 11 yards against the Seahawks, the worst defense against wide receivers in the league. The Packers are up in Week 13 and are good against wide receivers. Looks like yuck to me.
Other wide receivers that will cost you: Deebo Samuel and Tyler Boyd
Tight Ends
💰 Money Makers
Robert Tonyan ($5,900 on FanDuel and $3,700 on DraftKings)
The sure-handed Tonyan has seen 5 targets in each of the past two weeks and he has turned those 10 total targets into 10 receptions for 111 total yards and 2 touchdowns. If the 5 targets or so continue you can expect another day of success as the Eagles are not so good against tight ends. Let’s face it: the Packers are throwing in the Red Zone too. I smell another touchdown.
Robert Tonyan this season:
42 targets
37 receptions
458 yards
7 TDs
PPR TE4— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) December 2, 2020
Mike Gesicki ($5,700 on FanDuel and $4,200 on DraftKings)
Three games in a row, Gesicki has received 5 targets per game. He has averaged 40 yards per game over that stretch, and also has one touchdown. In Week 13 the Dolphins play the Bengals. The Bengals are a bottom 10 team against tight ends, as you know they suck.
Other tight ends to play:
The obvious: Travis Kelce and Darren Waller
The not so obvious: Jordan Reed
💔 Heart Breakers
Hunter Henry
Henry has been pretty good the past three weeks, scoring 2 touchdowns in the time span and averaging 7 targets per game. The Patriots are up in Week 13. The Patriots have not allowed a touchdown to a tight end on the season. Say no to Hunter Henry in DFS.
Logan Thomas
I just recommended you add Thomas the other day in UNtangling the Wire. So it seems weird that I would tell you he is a heart breaker today, doesn’t it? That’s because the Washington Football Team plays the Steelers in Week 13. The Steelers give up an average of 36 yards and 3 receptions to tight ends. I think you can expect that from Thomas this week
Other tight ends that will cost you: Dallas Goedert, Jordan Akins, and Tyler Kroft

The Undrafted | McNichols Cheap Seats
This week on “The Undrafted”, a fantasy football podcast focusing on dynasty game theory, Scott(@DynoGameTheory) brings on guest Chris Robin (@DetroitBeastie). The guys talk Houston’s WR situation with Fuller out rest of season, handcuffs to roster as we head into the playoffs, and a breakdown of 2020 rookie RBs & WRs. They also dive into Beastie’s expertise of DFS to help win you a little cash in Week 13. There is also breaking news mid-episode where Scott drops the absolute worst trade he has seen right on the show. Hopefully, it isn’t a trade you made (or would make). Tune in, or be tuned out.
UNtangling the Waiver Wire (Fantasy Football 2020 – Week 13)
Derek Carr. I had him as a plug-and-play addition last week. He was playing against the defense that gives up the most points to the quarterback position, and he has been playing well. So this seemed like sound advice. I want you to know I am sorry, I am so sorry. I also played him myself in a few leagues and as I write this, I am reliving the pain, oh the pain. It feels like an infected tooth; if you know what that feels like, you get it. I just want to run down the street screaming.
I don’t think Derek was very happy with himself as well.
On to the next one… pic.twitter.com/hEAhPArCww
— Derek Carr (@derekcarrqb) November 23, 2020
Now that you know I too have felt your pain, let’s get on to who we should look to add this week.
NOTE: If you are new around here, this column refers to players rostered in under 50% of Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper Leagues.
Quarterbacks
Kirk Cousins – Over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in each of the last two games. Next up is the third worst defense against the quarterback position, the Jaguars. You might feel like its late at night, you’re drunk and you were hoping to hook up if you add him; but he will be worth it this week. 40% rostered on Yahoo, 20% rostered on ESPN, and 39% rostered on Sleeper. (10% FAAB)
Highest-graded QBs in Week 12 prior to MNF:
1. Patrick Mahomes – 90.1
2. Kirk Cousins – 87.9
3. Deshaun Watson – 84.6
4. Aaron Rodgers – 84.1
5. Baker Mayfield – 78.9 pic.twitter.com/fWrPeA7yku— PFF (@PFF) November 30, 2020
Ryan Fitzpatrick – The Magic is back. As much as Carr made me unhappy, having Fitzmagic back and in a couple of lineups made me very happy. He gave a solid performance of 257 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Bengals are up next. 20% rostered on Yahoo, 21% rostered on ESPN, and 31% rostered on Sleeper. (10% FAAB)
Ryan Fitzpatrick now has at least 18 DK points in 11 of his last 13 full games. The dude fucks. pic.twitter.com/q4xDrnSLxj
— Adam Levitan (@adamlevitan) November 29, 2020
Philip Rivers – In the last three games, Rivers has had either 300 yards passing or multiple touchdowns. He is utilizing his receivers. The Texans and the Raiders are the next two opponents, and neither is tough on the passing game. 33% rostered on Yahoo, 13% rostered on ESPN, and 33% rostered on Sleeper. (5% FAAB)
Other Quarterbacks to consider: Baker Mayfield
Running Backs
Latavius Murray – With Taysom Hill at the helm of the Saints offense, Murray has become more involved. In Week 12 Murray had 19 carries for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. Between the change in offense game plan and Alvin Kamara’s foot issue, I would make Murray the number one addition if available. 60% rostered on Yahoo, 46% on ESPN, and 66% on Sleeper. (20% FAAB)
NOTE: I know he has high ownership, but apparently people playing on ESPN need to read this.
#Saints RB Alvin Kamara has 128 carries this season. Latavius Murray has 121 carries.
— Adam Ronis (@AdamRonis) November 30, 2020
Devontae Booker – Booker has been involved, vulturing a touchdown here and there and sometimes in the passing game. Well, Jacobs tweaked his ankle in Week 12. The Jets are up in Week 13. Yes, I am saying add Booker in a tasty matchup, if it looks like he’ll be starting. 10% rostered on Yahoo, 5% on ESPN, and 15% rostered on Sleeper. (10% FAAB)
Cam Akers – The Rams said they were going to get Akers more involved and they did. He has a touchdown in each of the last two games and rushed 9 times for 84 yards in Week 12. 30% rostered on Yahoo, 27% on ESPN, and 32% rostered on Sleeper. (12% FAAB)
Other running backs to consider: Benny Snell, Alexander Mattison, and Frank Gore.
Wide Receivers
Keke Coutee – Will Fuller is suspended, Randall Cobb is hurt, and Kenny Stills is gone. That leaves Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee as starting wide receivers for the Texans. Coutee has produced in the past when called upon and Deshaun Watson will be throwing the ball. He is back from the grave. 2% rostered on Yahoo, 0% on ESPN, and 2% rostered on Sleeper. (8% FAAB)
Keke Coutee back from the grave with fantasy relevance.
You love to see it.
— Fantasy Reserve 🏈 (@FantasyReserve) December 1, 2020
Denzel Mims – Mims has been targeted an average of 8 times over the last 3 games. He also has over 60 yards in each of those games. It appears Mims is emerging, and now would be the time to make the addition. 7% rostered on Yahoo, 4% on ESPN, 19% on Sleeper. (5% FAAB)
Sammy Watkins – OK, I can’t believe I am saying to add Sammy Watkins. If you are in need, he does tend to produce when healthy for the Chiefs the past two seasons. He was targeted 7 times in Week 12, and that is what you can expect weekly the rest f the way. High powered offense, decent target share. 44% rostered on Yahoo, 34% on ESPN, and 58% rostered on Sleeper. (8% FAAB)
Other wide receivers to consider: Allen Lazard and Nelson Agholor.
Tight Ends
Logan Thomas – The schedule is tough the rest of the way with the Steelers up next, but Thomas is involved in the passing game heavily for the Washington Football Team. At this point in the season, beggars can’t be choosers if you need a tight end. 41% rostered on Yahoo, 24% on ESPN, and 45% rostered on Sleeper. (4% FAAB)
The sneaky name people should be paying more attention to, Logan Thomas.
— John Hesterman (@john_hesterman) November 27, 2020
Jordan Reed – Reed had 6 targets in Week 12, but he didn’t do much with them. The Bills are not very good against the tight end position and they are up next. If you are streaming tight end, Reed is a nice option in Week 13. 25% rostered on Yahoo, 14% on ESPN, and 39% rostered on Sleeper. (2% FAAB)
Other tight ends to consider: Trey Burton
