I wanted to take the time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I am not especially festive this year, as I know many of you may not be as well. But take a moment to try and brighten your day and someone else’s if you can. I want to wish you Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and hope that you enjoy as much as humanly possible.
If you have an inkling to keep playing fantasy into the playoffs I will be working with my favorite charity, Ride Hard Breathe Easy, on the NFL Playoff challenge again this year. It is a $20 entrance fee, and half the money will go to Ride Hard Breathe Easy to help support their mission: “End the stigma and suffering for lung cancer patients and caregivers, in memory of Kathleen Matthews.”
Please consider playing in this tournament and helping the good cause. You can reach out to me to get started.
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
💰 Money Makers
Quarterbacks
Jared Goff
The Falcons suck. They give up the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Meanwhile, Goff has thrown for 3 touchdowns in two of the last three games. I know right now he is on Covid Protocol. But if he is playing I am playing him this week. It’s just too tasty of a match up, mmmm roasted Falcon.

$7,100 on Fanduel
Matthew Stafford
The Vikings give up the fourth most points to quarterbacks in fantasy. Stafford passed for multiple touchdowns in 4 straight games. If there is one thing we know about Stafford is he does a magnificent job beating up on the defenses he should beat up. This week has 3 touchdowns written all over it. Projected to be the highest scoring game on the slate with a 49.5 over/under. I’ll play some Rams please in season long formats.

$7,900 on Fanduel
Joe Burrow
The Ravens are a bottom 10 team against quarterbacks. Earlier in the season, these two teams met and Burrow threw for 416 yards and 3 touchdowns. Burrow has 4 straight weeks of double-digit scoring. The table is set, the food is served and Burrow will feast

Running Backs
James Robinson
You know who really sucks against running backs. The Jets, that is who. The Jets let Duke Johnson walk in out of now where put on a Dolphins uniform and rush for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Robinsons was set free last week and got 19 touches. Robinson is the best player on the Jaguars, Robinson will get the touches. You don’t need to know more here. Robinson is playing the Jets, YAY!
$5,900 on DraftKings
$8,200 on Fanduel
David Montgomery
The Seahawks give up 99 yards rushing and another 66 yards receiving to running backs weekly. Monty had a so-so week in week 15, but this is a big bounce back week for him against an opponent that seems to just get the fuck out of the way. Like move bitch, get out the way, get out the way bitch, get out the way. Play yourself some Monty this week.
$5,700 on DraftKings
$6,600 on Fanduel
Javonte Williams
The Raiders have given up double-digit scores to running backs in nine straight games. 11 running backs have scored in double digits over those nine games. Javonte has scored in double digits four games in a row and has four touchdowns over that stretch. He is still in a timeshare with Melvin Gordon both guys are in a position to do pretty well this week. I have nothing funny to say about Javonte (but I still rhymed).

Wide Receivers
Cooper Kupp
I typically like to pay down at wide receiver. And this week I am talking about paying up. The Vikings are the friendliest team to wide receivers in fantasy. They give up 14 receptions, 190 yards, and 1 touchdown per game to wide receivers. Kupp has only 1 game where he hasn’t scored in double digits all season. He is going to be chalk, but for cash, he is a magnificent play. Pay up for Kupp!

$9,800 on Fanduel
Amon-Ra St. Brown
The lions are playing the Falcons in week 16. The Falcons suck real bad, like third worst against wide receivers. They practically let them catch the back and get out of the way. To top it off Amon-Ra has looked like a god in the past three games. The Sun God has 10+ targets in each of those three games and double-digit production in fantasy as well. He does not have less than 8 receptions over that span. Amon-Ra sis boom bah!

$6,500 on Fanduel
Antonio Brown
He is back in the Buccaneers lineup. Both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are out. Brady loves Brown, word is he looked fantastic in practice on Tuesday. He has double-digit scores in 3 out of the 5 games he has played. Carolina is supposed to be good against wide receivers but has given up 7 touchdowns to wide receivers in the last 4 games. What can Brown do for you? He can score a touchdown in Week 16

Tight Ends
Pat Freiermuth
The Chiefs give up the 11th most fantasy points to tight ends. Freiermuth leads the Steelers in red zone targets and receiving touchdowns. Are you picking up what I am putting down? I made it pretty easy for you. You didn’t even have to read between the lines. Play “Muth” he is a “muth” start.

Mark Andrews
Playing against the Bengals in week 16. In the past two games since Lamar Jackson has been out Andrews has become the focal point of the Raven offense. Over that two week span he has seen 24 targets, for 21 receptions, 251 yards, and three touchdowns. Those sound like team stats from a single game. With his massive target share and production, a must play for me in week 16.
$7,000 on DraftKings
$8,000 on Fanduel
Cole Kmet
The Bears offense has not been very good. Kmet is second on the team in target share with 19%, he also plays about 90% of the snaps. The Seahawks give up the sixth most fantasy points to tight ends. Tight ends that are involved in their team’s offense have done very well against the Seahawks’ defense. Even Brevin Jordan scored a touchdown against them in week 14. The price is right for Kmet allowing you to pay up elsewhere and have some good upside at tight end.

💔Heart Breakers
Quarterbacks
Mac Jones
Mac threw 3 passes against them in the last game, 3. I know you probably aren’t playing him in a DFS or season long. I literally just wanted to write about his 3 passes thrown as I hadn’t yet.
Josh Allen
The Patriots have given up only two 20 point scoring performances to quarterbacks all season. Allen played against them two weeks ago and scored 11 points. That was the only double digit scoring performance by a quarterback against them in the last 6 games. Yeah, I am out on Allen, like was Cole Beasley answering vaccination questions, no, no and NO.
Derek Carr
The Broncos are a very good real life defense. The Broncos are also top 5 against quarterbacks in fantasy. Derek Carr was great against them the last time they played. He got one of the three 20 point fantasy days the Broncos have given up this season. I am not betting on him this week.
Running Backs
Duke Johnson
In week 15 Johnson walked on to the Miami Dolphins team off the street. They gave him a uniform they found before game time with some other guys name on it and used a sharpie to write his name on the back. He had his best day as a pro. Well, that was last week against the Jets, this week the Saints and their run stopping defense is up. Dukie will look like a dookie this week.
Chub Hubbard
After three straight week of giving up double digit fantasy scores to running backs the Buccaneers held Alvin Kamara in check last week. Hubbard looked pretty good in week 15 but the Panthers entire team looks messy. Cam Newton will steal goal line work. All that hope we had for Hubbard is gone, completely gone. He broke my heart once or twice already this season, I am not letting it happen again.
Josh Jacobs
In week 6 Jacobs had a touchdown and scored 14.7 fantasy points. Remove those 6 points. Ewww, right? I am not liking the match up this week and I am not liking the Raiders offense much this week. I don’t even have too much to say other than yuck. Is yuck enough for you?
Wide Receivers
Stefon Diggs
Playing the Patriots in week 16. In week 13 against the Patriots defense he had a whopping 4 receptions for 51 yards. This is a defensive battle in the making. Cole Beasley is already going to miss the game because of Covid, Josh Allen may also be out. Hell, I am just avoiding this passing game like it was Covid myself.
Brandin Cooks
Last week I was victory lapping him and his success as a Money Maker this week I am saying avoid him in DFS. One week and the entire world changes. The Chargers are up in week 16, they have given up some big weeks. But they are the second toughest defense on wide receivers in fantasy. Nothing Cooking here.
Diontae Johnson
Playing against the Chiefs this week. The Chiefs are a top 10 defense against wide receivers in fantasy. I like his volume and you are playing him in your season long playoffs. For DFS purposes, let someone else gamble on whether or not he will produce against the Chiefs. I can still see him getting double digit targets, but that doesn’t always mean double digit fantasy points.
Tight Ends
Dawson Knox
The Patriots are literally the toughest defense on tight ends in fantasy. No one is as stingy against tight ends as the Patriots Defense is against this position. In week 13 Knox had 2 receptions for 14 yards, with Beasley out he should see more targets, which I like. But I am not playing him in DFS at all.
Darren Waller
Let’s face it, if you draft Waller in season long he has broken our heart on the entire season. Don’t let him break you heart week 16 in DFS. In Week 6, the Broncos’ third ranked defense against tight ends held Waller to 5 receptions for 59 yards. The Broncos have not given up a double-digit fantasy day to tight ends yet this season. Only one tight ends has scored a touchdown against the Broncos. Waller will not be a baller this week.
