Week 7 will be absolutely hellacious. The Bills, Cowboys, Jaguars, Chargers, Vikings, and Steelers are all on a bye this week. But with this in mind, I have a question for you. Did you ever have one of those teams that are too deep? You know the team where your bench and starters seem like they are almost interchangeable but for some reason, you are just mediocre? Yeah, I have one of those. This is the week where one of those teams is the best, the bye weeks make those teams feel incredible because you can just plug people in.
But enough of that as we are here to talk DFS. So let’s GO!
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
💰 Money Makers
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers
The Packers are playing the Washington Football Team, which is the friendliest defense for quarterbacks to score fantasy points. Quarterbacks average 317 yards and 3 touchdowns a week against the WFT defense. Every single quarterback to play them has had 300 yards and/or multiple touchdowns. Rodgers had 3 touchdowns in Week 6 and you can expect him to keep it rolling in Week 7.

Sam Darnold
Darnold has come down to earth a little the last two weeks. But you know what can make a quarterback in a funk feel better about themselves? Playing the New York Giants. The Giants give up the 6th most fantasy points to quarterbacks on the season. In 5 out of 6 games, the Giants have given up multiple touchdowns to the QB position. Darnold gets the much friendly match-up he needed.

$7,700 on Fanduel
Ryan Tannehill
The Titans play the Chiefs in Week 7. The Chiefs are the second friendliest defense to quarterbacks in fantasy. Four out of six quarterbacks to play the Chiefs have scored 28 or more points and A.J. Brown is looking healthy. Tannehill needed a get-right game as his schedule gets easier and this is it. The start of good things for Tanny.

Running Backs
Chuba Hubbard
Chuba has had 199 total yards and a touchdown over the past two weeks. The Giants give up 122 yards on the ground and another 44 yards via the pass to running backs on a weekly basis. Hubba hubba, Hubbard is looking like a sexy play this week against that porous Giants defense.
$6,100 on DraftKings
$7,300 on Fanduel
Darrell Henderson
I was SUPER high on Henderson in Week 6. He delivered in a big way against the Giants with 2 touchdowns and a total of 107 yards. This week, he gets the team that gives up the most fantasy points to running backs, the Detroit Lions. The Lions give up an average of 2 touchdowns and a total of 157 yards per week to running backs. Pay up for Henderson and feel good about it.

$8,000 on Fanduel
Damien Harris
Harris was supposedly dinged up bad for Week 6. Dinged up Harris had 101 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys. In Week 7, Harris gets to play against the same crummy Jets defense he had 61 yards and a touchdown against in Week 2. Rectus dominus Damien is going to raise hell on the Jets.

Wide Receivers
Calvin Ridley
Ridley is back after the bye week. The Falcons play the Dolphins and the Dolphins defense give up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Ridley had an obnoxiously high 30% target share before missing Week 5. Ridley will be scoring a touchdown in Week 7.

$7,300 on Fanduel
A.J. Brown
Look who’s back, back again, AJ’s back tell-a-friend. Brown turned his 9 targets into 7 receptions and 91 yards in Week 5 against the Bills. That was on 27% target share. Look for him to regain his form from the healthy A.J. Brown we all love against the Chiefs in week 7. A.J. Brown has arrived.
$6,300 on DraftKings
$7,000 on Fanduel
Jaylen Waddle
Waddle had a 28% target share in Week 7. That translates to 13 targets, 10 receptions, 70 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Only the two lousy New York teams did not have wide receivers score multiple touchdowns against the Falcons. The Falcons have given up 7 touchdowns to wide receivers on the season. Yes, yes I am saying this is a great match-up for Waddle. Watch as he ‘waddles’ into the endzone.

Tight Ends
Zach Ertz
Do you know who gives up 66 yards and a touchdown on average weekly to tight ends? The Houston Texans. I know Ertz is with a new team, but I can’t help but feel giddy seeing that he is playing the team that gives up the second-most points to tight ends. Houston gives up an average of 15.73 points to tight ends weekly. Oh, this looks like a nice play in DFS and in season-long leagues.
$3,900 on DraftKings
$5,300 on Fanduel
Hunter Henry
The Jets are not good against tight ends. The Patriots play the Jets in Week 7. I don’t like chasing the touchdowns but Henry had touchdowns in 3 straight games and is now playing a bottom 10 defense against tight ends. It feels like if a guy’s last name is Henry, you might want to play him.

💔 Heart Breakers
Quarterbacks
Geno Smith
I bet you didn’t need me to tell you that Geno is an all-out heart breaker. So much that he should be on the cover of romance novels with long flowing hair. The Seahawks play the Saints in week 7. The Saints give up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. Only one QB has scored more than 20 points against this Saints defense. I think it stays that way and Geno plays like Geno.
Mac Jones
I love this kid, so I guess my heart is literally one that he will break here. Against the Jets in week 2 Jones had 186 yards. Between the Patriots conservative play calling and the fact that the Jets give up the 4th fewest fantasy points to QBs I am out on Jones.
Lamar Jackson
What are you talking about Mike, Jackson is a heart breaker? What the heck is wrong with you, this is Lamar friggin Jackson we are talking about. The Ravens play the Bengals in week7. The Bengals have given up two 20 point game to quarterbacks in fantasy this season. I am not saying Jackson will suck, I am saying there are better options in DFS at his price point.
Running Backs
Devontae Booker
Booker has been good in relief of Saquon Barkley. But in week 7 he is playing against the Panthers defense that has only given up two 20 points running bcaks scores this season and those were to Ezekiel Elliott and Dalvin Cook. I simply don’t see Booker producing in that capacity against the defense which give up the fewest fantasy points to running backs. Booker breaks hearts all around New York City in week 7.
Elijah Mitchell
Remember when he was the top waiver add of the week? Was that even during this season? Well in week 7 the Niners are playing against a Colts team that gives up the 4th fewest points to running backs in fantasy. The Colts have only given up 2 touchdwns to running backs all season. First Mitchell breaks your heart and waiver wire dreams now he breaks your heart in week 7.
Khalil Herbert
Tampa Bay is very tough on running backs. They have no given up a 100 yard rusher this season. They have only given up one rushing touchdown on the season. Herbert was making you money in week 6 and now he is breaking your heart in week 7. Your killing me Khalil.
Wide Receivers
Jakobi Meyers
In week 2 Meyers had 48 yards against the Jets. I expect the Patriots to run and run some more in week 7 as the Jets are the third toughest defense against wide receivers. The Jets have not given up 100 yards receiving to a wide receiver yet this season. I am sad writing this.
Henry Ruggs
People are excited because he had 97 yards and a touchdown in week 6. The Eagles are really good against the pass. The Eagles give up 4th fewest points to wide receivers. Only one wide receiver has cracked 20 points against the Eagles and that was Tyreek Hill.
Tee Higgins
The Bengals play the Ravens in week 7. The Ravens haven’t given up a 100 yards receiving yet this season toa wide receiver. The Ravens are the 7th best defense against wide receivers in fantasy. If I am playing a Bengals wide receiver it is JaMaar Chase not Higgins.
Tight Ends
O.J. Howard
Don’t start getting all cute thinking because he had a good week and Gronk is most likely out that Howard is therefore a good play in week 7. He isn’t. The Bears give up the 4th fewest points to tight ends. Not a single tight end has cracked 10 points against the Bears. I would put my money on someone else in that high-volume passing offense this week and not Howard the perennial heart breaker.
Mark Andrews
Andrews has been on fire, between his high volume and what he does with that volume. He is a must-start in season-long, every week. But not in DFS, this week. The Bengals are good at stopping the pass and good at stopping tight ends. Only one tight end has scored more than 10 fantasy points against the Bengals this season. Ouch!
