This coming week is going to be brutal with bye weeks for teams. There are so many big names that will have to go to bench spots; hopefully, you have been following along and picked up some players to help get you a win in Week 10 while having to bench your top players. Keep coming back to The Undroppables for all your fantasy football advice!
QUARTERBACKS
Joshua Dobbs (Minnesota Vikings)
Yahoo – 17% Rostered
ESPN – 17% Rostered
Sleeper – 19% Rostered
Did you or someone you know drop him after the benching news from Arizona? Then he got promptly traded to the Vikings less than 24 hours after that news. No one saw the Jaren Hall injury coming, but Dobbs stepped up and made an impact that quickly was something special to watch. Now he gets a week of practice, and Justin Jefferson is coming back? Get him on your rosters; this is the QB9 on the season!
Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)
Yahoo – 59% Rostered
ESPN – 36% Rostered
Sleeper – 60% Rostered
It is finally time to add Kyler Murray to your rosters if you haven’t already. Most people have been stashing on IR spots, but it looks like there is a chance he is available in your league. Joshua Dobbs looked good in this system while still a Cardinal; Kyler is an upgrade in every way, so look for him to excel.
RUNNING BACKS
Keaton Mitchell (Baltimore Ravens)
Yahoo – 4% Rostered
ESPN – 1% Rostered
Sleeper – 3% Rostered
There was a lot of offseason hype for Keaton; it finally came to production in garbage time. I like this as a stash more than a weekly play, but Keaton can work into a role where he sees more snaps. He still needs to work since he is behind Gus Edwards and Justice Hill in the pecking order.
Antonio Gibson (Washington Commanders)
Yahoo – 45% Rostered
ESPN – 40% Rostered
Sleeper – 48% Rostered
Antonio’s best weeks are when he is involved in the passing game; it’s not a coincidence. In the past three games, he has gotten five or more targets, and he has finished a serviceable flex option. This is important since this week’s bye is taking out some good wide receivers and running backs. Gibson might be a good FLEX play for you this week.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Tank Dell (Houston Texans)
Yahoo – 48% Rostered
ESPN – 56% Rostered
Sleeper – 60% Rostered
He has been the definition of a boom-or-bust play this year, which may be why people have been scared to pick him up and play him. Upside plays will win you championships, and players who finish at the top of their positions at any given week are what you want. Pick him up; his end-of-season schedule is lovely and may win you a championship.
JuJu Smith-Schuster (New England Patriots)
Yahoo – 19% Rostered
ESPN – 30% Rostered
Sleeper – 27% Rostered
Are we back in on JuJu? He has the most targets since Week 1 and his highest yardage total. The previous week, he had his first touchdown as well. It’s not a great addition, but we may be desperate with how severe the Week 10 bye week teams are. He gets an incredible matchup against the Indianapolis Colts if that helps your decision as well.
Kyle Philips (Tennessee Titans)
Yahoo – 0% Rostered
ESPN – 0% Rostered
Sleeper – 2% Rostered
Becoming relevant with Will Levis taking over the starting spot, Kyle quickly has shown a connection with Will. Leading all WRs on the Titans on their Week 9 game, this is a low-risk stash that might lead to a solid FLEX opportunity in a PPR format.
TIGHT ENDS
Cade Otton (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Yahoo – 5% Rostered
ESPN – 7% Rostered
Sleeper – 10% Rostered
Cade has six or more targets for three straight weeks now, coming off a monster Week 9 game with nine targets – leading to six catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns. With Cade getting more and more involved, please look to add him while Kelce is on bye this week.
Jonnu Smith (Atlanta Falcons)
Yahoo – 28% Rostered
ESPN – 27% Rostered
Sleeper – 32% Rostered
It was another massive week for Jonnu, getting involved in the red zone and eclipsing 100 receiving yards with another touchdown. As all Kyle Pitts owners hate this, you can’t deny that Jonnu is a weekly starter at the TE position in 2023.
BUZZCUTS
Christian Watson (Green Bay Packers)
I am just not confident in starting Christian Watson anymore. The deep ball accuracy concerns with Jordan Love, the effort level from Watson himself, and his low catch rate make him super volatile in your starting lineup. I will happily be wrong if he starts to have a strong end of the season, but I’d rather it not be on my team.
