The bye-pocalypse is here! I hope you have been following along and preparing for this week. Many teams are on byes this week, and you may be scrambling to assemble a full roster. Luckily, this is why you come to The Undroppables for all your fantasy football advice!

QUARTERBACKS

Desmond Ridder (Atlanta Falcons)

Yahoo – 9% Rostered
ESPN – 5% Rostered
Sleeper – 15% Rostered

Beggers can’t be choosers regarding bye-week fill-ins, and Desmond might be a good start for you this week.  Coming off back-to-back weeks of 300+ passing yards and two passing touchdowns each week, Atlanta has become more of a passing offense since they have had to play from behind. Probably a similar tale this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Derek Carr (New Orleans Saints)

Yahoo – 25% Rostered
ESPN – 15% Rostered
Sleeper – 28% Rostered

Still returning from his shoulder injury, Carr threw for 353 passing yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Houston Texans.  He gets another favorable matchup in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Carr can post similar numbers, and he will be at home, which is an excellent advantage.

RUNNING BACKS

Jordan Mason (San Francisco 49ers)

Yahoo – 7% Rostered
ESPN – 1% Rostered
Sleeper – 5% Rostered

With Christian McCaffrey’s injury, everyone will scramble to figure out this backfield and who to add. Why not go with the guy who scored a touchdown in back-to-back weeks? Jordan Mason has earned some snaps in this offense and has looked the part in those limited touches.

Keaontay Ingram (Arizona Cardinals)

Yahoo – 20% Rostered
ESPN – 9% Rostered
Sleeper – 40% Rostered

It looks like Ingram truly was the main backup to James Conner, as he led the team in touches from the running back position in Week 6.  Coming off an injury himself, we could see Keaontay get an increased workload against the Seattle Seahawks this week.

D’Onta Foreman (Chicago Bears)

Yahoo – 55% Rostered
ESPN – 31% Rostered
Sleeper – 56% Rostered

Another player who took advantage of some injuries, D’Onta Foreman, led the Bears in rushes in Week 6 after seeing Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson go down with injuries in Week 5.  Foreman might be leaned on to carry the team in Week 7 with no Justin Fields.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Curtis Samuel (Washington Commanders)

Yahoo – 35% Rostered
ESPN – 29% Rostered
Sleeper – 51% Rostered

Everyone was fooled last year by his hot start, but Curtis Samuel is vital to the Washington offense. They are playing the Giants in Week 7 in three straight weeks with a touchdown.  He is a must-start in your FLEX spot.

Joshua Palmer (Los Angeles Chargers)

Yahoo – 57% Rostered
ESPN – 49% Rostered
Sleeper – 65% Rostered

Barely cutting this article regarding rostership, Joshua Palmer is still worth looking at on your waivers to see if he is available.  Three straight weeks with 7+ targets in a pass-happy offense, he is a FLEX start in PPR leagues with upside when he scores a touchdown.

TIGHT ENDS

Jonnu Smith (Atlanta Falcons)

Yahoo – 19% Rostered
ESPN – 15% Rostered
Sleeper – 25% Rostered

It seems both tight ends for Atlanta have become weekly starters.  Jonnu Smith now has three straight weeks of finishing as a TE1, and as they start to pass more – Jonnu will continue to be a weekly starter at the position.

Dalton Schultz (Houston Texans)

Yahoo – 51% Rostered
ESPN – 63% Rostered
Sleeper – 57% Rostered

I was very wrong earlier this year on Dalton Schultz. He has become more involved with the offense, partially from injuries but also because he is a good football player. CJ Stroud has been on fire, and Schultz has been a significant benefactor recently because of his standout rookie season.

Michael Mayer (Las Vegas Raiders)

Yahoo – 5% Rostered
ESPN – 1% Rostered
Sleeper – 12% Rostered

Well, which team discovered they have a standout rookie TE as well? Michael Mayer has been very involved in the past two weeks and gets a great matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 7. Look for Mayer to score his first NFL touchdown, calling it now!

BUZZ CUTS

Jahan Dotson (Washington Commanders)

I had such high hopes this season for Jahan Dotson.  However, it looks like the offense is funneled through Terry, the tight ends, and running backs. It is time to move on from Jahan Dotson and send them to the waivers.

I was asked to join a fantasy football league in High School and I haven't been the same since. I love the competitive nature, the communities it builds, and the thinking and content that can be created. I am hoping to connect to larger audiences in helping them grow into becoming knowledgable managers and I am open to discussions.
