The Stream Option (Fantasy Football 2021 – Week 10)

Reflection Section – Week 9 Finishes

Tua Tagovailoa – NR (Injured)
Mike White – QB26 (Injured)
Marcedes Lewis – TE53
Tyler Kroft – TE28 (Injured)
Carolina Panthers – DST14
Las Vegas Raiders – DST16

I was feeling very good going into Thursday night last week for my streaming fantasy football picks. The first drive, Mike White was looking great and Tyler Kroft played a big part in it. Both left shortly after that drive and I had a feeling the rest of my week was going to go that way. The Jordan Love led Packers did nothing, Tua was a late injury scratch before kickoff and I picked the wrong defenses in the right games.

I can’t win them all, but I certainly can learn and try again. Here are some options if you are looking for some streaming options in Week 10. If you ever want to look at where these options sit in rankings, don’t forget to check out The Undroppables Weekly Rankings.

Notable Bye Week Teams

Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and New York Giants

Quarterbacks

Trevor Lawrence @ Indianapolis Colts

Yahoo Rostership: 36%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 5th

Going back to the Rookie QBs, since every time I have picked them they have done not great.  What is different this time? The three defenses that Trevor has finished as a top QB have been against defenses that have ranked in the top 10 of points allowed to quarterbacks on the season. The Colts rank fifth currently.  I think this game can lead to a shootout with a division game and both teams coming off big wins.

P.J. Walker @ Arizona Cardinals

Yahoo Rostership: 2%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 31st

Declared the starter for Sunday with Sam Darnold out for 4-6 weeks, the former XFL star gets to prove that he can be the starter.  Extra motivation with Cam Newton signing, I look for P.J. to air it out with Christian McCaffrey healthy and D.J. Moore looking to get back to dominating.  I know the Cardinals say they are one of the tougher defenses, they did allow Jimmy Garappolo with 20 fantasy points for a QB8 week finish.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth vs Detroit Lions

Yahoo Rostership: 57%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 25th

Not much to say here, with how hot Pat has been. Coming off of back-to-back weeks of TE3 and TE1 on the week, not sure how he is available in over 40% of leagues still. Pick him up, plug him in, and enjoy the ride. With Chase Claypool missing time, this could be a monster second-half finish.

Dan Arnold @ Indianapolis Colts

Yahoo Rostership: 26%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 4th

This is another surprise for availability. Getting consistent usage since being traded to Jacksonville, Dan Arnold has been a focal point for the Jaguars’ offense. Finishing with 10+ PPR points in 3 out of the last 4 weeks and the Colts still not being great about defending the position, I can see Dan finishing with similar results.

Defense/Special Teams

Denver Broncos vs Philadelphia Eagles

Yahoo Rostership: 59%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 27th

Another surprise on being available but I can see how the season has gone on.  Early in the season, their matchups were great, and they performed well. Hitting a tougher stretch in the schedule, I can see fantasy managers looking to drop them. They got a juicy matchup in Week 8 against the Washington Football Team and then surprised the world in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys, look for the broncos to ride that hype against the Philadelphia Eagles. They can shut down the run, force Hurts to make mistakes, and keep the score low as Fangio likes it.

Tennessee Titans vs New Orleans Saints

Yahoo Rostership: 49%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 26th

The surprise team in the NFL and their defense is helping them with their success.  Shutting down the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs, their defense has racked up the sacks and kept the scores low. Pick up this defense before others start to catch on this could potentially be a weekly set it and forget it defense.

I was asked to join a fantasy football league in High School and I haven't been the same since. I love the competitive nature, the communities it builds, and the thinking and content that can be created. I am hoping to connect to larger audiences in helping them grow into becoming knowledgable managers and I am open to discussions.
