The Stream Option (Fantasy Football 2021 – Week 11)

Reflection Section – Week 10 Finishes

Trevor Lawrence – QB20
P.J. Walker – QB26
Pat Freiermuth – TE22
Dan Arnold – TE6
Denver Broncos – DST20
Tennessee Titans – DST12

I keep picking the wrong rookie QB, with Trevor struggling in Week 10 and Mac Jones having a career day. P.J. Walker got both touchdowns vultured by Cam Newton and hurt his weekly finish. Dan Arnold continues to be a top tight end play and Pat has a decent week with 9 targets but a costly fumble. Titans’ defense continues to be great and Denver showing they aren’t as impressive as we all hoped.

I can’t win them all, but I certainly can learn and try again. Here are some fantasy football streamers if you are looking for some streaming options in Week 11. If you ever want to look at where these options sit in rankings, don’t forget to check out The Undroppables Weekly Rankings.

Notable Bye Week Teams

Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams

Quarterbacks

Cam Newton vs. Washington Football Team

Yahoo Rostership: 18%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 1st

A serious risk with this pick, but so is streaming your quarterbacks this late in the season right?! Cam Newton gets his first start this weekend against his former head coach.  Washington has been the worst against defending the opposing quarterback so look for Cam to have himself a big day.

Mac Jones @ Atlanta Falcons

Yahoo Rostership: 29%
Opposition Rank vs QB: 12th

Going back to the rookie quarterback well, I am hoping Mac Jones is able to follow up his dominant performance again on a short week.  Atlanta Falcons haven’t been terrific for their passing defense as a unit and we are hoping Mac can match what he did in Week 10.

Tight Ends

C.J. Uzomah vs Las Vegas Raiders

Yahoo Rostership: 21%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 1st

Coming off a bye week, there is a good chance Uzomah is on the waiver wire for you to pick up.  The Raiders are dead last at defending against the tight ends, and Uzomah has excelled in matchups against defenses that have struggled against the position.  This could be another boom week with C.J. being boom or bust so far this season.

Geoff Swaim vs Houston Texans

Yahoo Rostership: 0%
Opposition Rank vs TE: 3rd

Don’t look now, but there is a tight end in Tennessee that is starting to get involved! In the past 3 weeks, Geoff has 4 receptions each week for an average of 25 receiving yards.  He has 2 touchdowns in those 3 games as well. Houston has been awful at defending the position, look for Swaim to find the endzone this week.

Defense/Special Teams

Carolina Panthers vs Washington Football Team

Yahoo Rostership: 32%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 5th

Carolina has been a good defense for fantasy, finishing top 12 in 7 out of the 10 weeks so far this season.  This will be a highly emotional game and the lowest overall total from Vegas Odds, this should be a great D/ST to start if you are streaming still.

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets

Yahoo Rostership: 27%
Opposition Rank vs D/ST: 3rd

Miami’s defense has greatly improved in the past two weeks, finishing DST3 and then DST2 on the weeks.  They get the New York Jets, with Joe Flacco set to start for them for the first time this year.  They shut out the Flacco-led Jets in the 2020 season, I look for them to extend this streak as a top 5 finish for a third straight week.

I was asked to join a fantasy football league in High School and I haven't been the same since. I love the competitive nature, the communities it builds, and the thinking and content that can be created. I am hoping to connect to larger audiences in helping them grow into becoming knowledgable managers and I am open to discussions.
