I hope you are still in playoff contention. The next few weeks will be crucial to keep your playoff dreams alive. Please pay attention to the schedules of the players you add or trade for. I mention in my column here who has good schedules, the rest of the season, the next few weeks, etc. Even if you are trading, look for players with easier schedules or already past their bye weeks.
Good Luck!
NOTE: If you are new here, this column refers to players rostered in under 50% of Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper Leagues.
Moving into Week 10, the highest priority person I would have on waivers are Garrett Wilson (61% Yahoo) and Darnell Mooney (62% Yahoo). If one of these guys is available in your league, they are the top 2 waiver wire additions. Jimmy Garoppolo is the third-highest wavier add for me this week, with Jeff Wilson Jr. fourth.
Quarterbacks
Jimmy Garoppolo
He has thrown for two touchdowns and over 235 yards in four straight games. He has been mentioned in this article for three consecutive weeks. Coming off the bye, Jimmy has one of the easiest rest-of-season schedules. If you missed adding a QB for the bye weeks or are struggling with players like Tom Brady or Justin Herbert, do not be afraid to add Jimmy and play him.

Andy Dalton
If he is starting for the Saints, you will want to play him in Week 10. He has back-to-back multi-touchdown games coming into Week 9. The Saints throw the ball a lot; even short passes to Alvin Kamara count. In Week 10, he plays the Steelers, who give up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks.

Other quarterbacks to consider:
- Jacoby Brissett – Plays Miami after a bye week
- Daniel Jones – Plays Houston after a bye week
- Case Keenum – Speculative add in super flex and 2 QB leagues
Running Backs
Jeff Wilson Jr.
He had his first game with the Dolphins and led the backfield in touches. With nine carries for 51 yards and three receptions for 21 yards. He may have been dropped in your league. However, he knows the Dolphins’ playbook and has produced well every time he gets an opportunity. The following two games are against the Browns and the Texans; both teams are among the top five for giving up fantasy points to running backs.

Jaylen Warren
He is on bye in Week 9. He had six carries for 50 yards rushing and three receptions for 25 yards receiving. He gets roughly a third of the snaps but looks more effective than Najee. His role may grow; he is more of a speculative add. This is exactly what I said about him last week in this space.

Other running backs to consider:
- Raheem Blackshear – 13 yards rushing, TD, four targets, four receptions, 40 yards receiving
- Jerick McKinnon – 4 yards rushing, eight targets, six receptions, 40 yards receiving
Wide Receivers
Donovan Peoples-Jones
He was on a bye in Week 9. He has not had less than four receptions and 50 yards in the previous five weeks, with four games of over 71 yards in that period. He is your guy if you need a bye-week fill-in at wide receiver. Cleveland plays the Dolphins in Week 10, and the Dolphins give up the 8th most fantasy points to wide receivers. In the Fantasy playoffs of weeks 15 through 17, the Browns also have a super easy schedule.

Terrace Marshall
Marshall is emerging in the Panthers’ passing game. He has 16 targets over the past two games. He turned those targets into seven receptions, 140 yards, and a touchdown total for those two games. This gets even better because the Panthers play the Falcons in Week 10, and the Falcons give up the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Absolute Money Maker potential for Week 10 here.

Zay Jones
Jones is back in the lineup and healthy. The Jaguars have four straight games coming up against bottom-of-the-barrel defenses against wide receivers. In Week 9, a game the Jaguars controlled the entire second half Jones had five targets, five receptions, and 40 yards. Looks suitable for bye-week fill-in duties for you for the next four games.

Other wide receivers to consider:
- Darnell Mooney – 8 targets, seven receptions, 43 yards, TD
- Garrett Wilson – 9 targets, eight receptions, 92 yards
- Mecole Hardman – 9 targets, 6 receptions, 79 yards, TD
NOTE: Neither Mooney nor Wilson fit the 50% available, but they are just over 60% rostered and should now be 100% rostered. Wilson would be my top add at WR if available in your league.
Tight Ends
Cole Kmet
The past two weeks have been the revival of Cole Kmet. He has a touchdown in each of the past two games. In Week 9, he had two carries for 9 yards and six targets which he turned in five receptions for 41 yards and two touchdowns. The tight end position is a mess, and Kmet has two great matchups against the Lions and the Falcons in the next two weeks. Add and play, baby, add and play.

Greg Dulcich
Dulcich had a touchdown in Week 6. He followed that up in Week 7 with nine targets, six receptions, and 51 yards. In Week 8, he had five targets which he turned into four receptions and 87 yards. He will be coming off a bye for Week 10, and the schedule is very friendly for the rest of the season.

Cade Otton
Otton had six targets for five receptions, 68 yards, and a touchdown in Week 9. In Week 10, the Buccaneers play the Seahawks, who give up the most points to opposing teams’ tight ends. The Bucs need to pass to stay in games, and Tom Brady will target Otton.
