Somehow we made it to Week 4. 2020 is actually making me wonder how we have made it to this point. I mean, Cam Newton is a confirmed COVID-19 case, and so is the President of the United States of America. Yet here we are, and as bad as COVID-19 has been, the injury bug has been worse for the NFL.
Nick Chubb and Austin Ekeler in Week 4: OUCH! Like such a big-ass OUCH. It feels like I was walking across the living room in the middle of the night and I stepped on a LEGO. If you have kids, you know exactly what I mean. It’s 2 AM, and all you want is to eat the leftover buffalo chicken wings. You slowly and silently walk to the fridge, step on that LEGO, try not scream, hop on one leg, and press on to those chicken wings. Well, here at The Undroppables, we want to help you make it to those damn wings.
NOTE: This column refers to players rostered in under 50% of Yahoo leagues.
Quarterbacks
Teddy Bridgewater – 23% Rostered in Yahoo. 9% Rostered in ESPN. In Week 4, Bridgewater threw for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 32 yards and 1 touchdown. In Week 5, the Panthers welcome the #1 defense in giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks. Hello Falcons! The Falcons haven’t seen a lead they didn’t want to give up since the infamous 28-3 Super Bowl thing. If you need help at QB in Week 5 see Teddy, Teddy will help.
Justin Herbert – 16% rostered in Yahoo. 11% rostered in ESPN. Herbert threw for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Buccaneers in Week 4. He gets the Saints in Week 5. The Saints have given up 11 touchdowns in 4 weeks to the passing attack of their opponents. You can expect another multi-touchdown game against the Saints in Week 5.
Other Quarterbacks to consider: Gardner Minshew and Derek Carr.
Running Backs
Joshua Kelley – Rostered in 55% of Yahoo leagues and 56% of ESPN leagues. He is not available in any of the leagues I play in. He also didn’t have a stellar Week 4, with 7 yards rushing and 3 receptions for 26 yards receiving. But with Austin Ekeler looking like he is done for most of the season, Kelley and Justin Jackson are both adds if available in your league.
Chase Edmonds – Rostered in 35% of Yahoo leagues and 25% of ESPN leagues, Edmonds is probably available. He is also taking over a LARGE portion of the passing work from the Cardinals backfield. in Week 4, Edmonds had 5 receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. With Drake looking like his preseason injury is hindering him, Edmonds could get even more involved.
Damien Harris – Rostered in 30% of Yahoo Leagues and 15% in ESPN. Harris looked amazing in the preseason and had 14 carries for 94 yards at the time I was writing this article. He looked REALLY good running the ball against the Chiefs, who are no slouch against the run. If I lost Ekeler or Chubb, I would definitely consider adding Harris.
Other running backs to consider: D’Ernest Johnson, Travis Homer, and Duke Johnson.
Wide Receivers
Tim Patrick – 2% rostered in Yahoo and less than 1% rostered in ESPN. Timmy had 4 receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 and followed that up with 6 receptions for 113 yards and a TD in Week 4. Patrick also had a 25% target share of the Broncos passes.

Brandon Aiyuk – This guy right here was someone I had as an add last week as well. He is rostered in 26% of ESPN Leagues and 57% of Yahoo leagues. That means either Yahoo users are smarter or more of them read my article and have had the wire UNtangled for them. Aiyuk had 1 rush for 38 yards and a touchdown and 2 receptions on 5 targets for 28 yards. They are trying to get him involved in the ‘Niners lineup, and so should you.
Tee Higgins – Another guy that was mentioned here last week as well. This week Higgins had 7 targets for 4 receptions and 77 yards. He also had a 20% target share in Week 4. I have no idea how many weeks in a row you want me to tell you to add these guys, but I know now is the time if you have been sleeping so far. Get woke, this is not a hoax; Higgins has value.
Other Wide Receivers to consider: Zach Pascal, Laviska Shenault, Cole Beasley, and Christian Kirk.
Tight Ends
Dalton Schultz – Rostered in 52% of Yahoo Leagues and 33% of ESPN leagues. Schultz has seen 24 targets the past 33 weeks. in Week 4, Schultz had 4 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. He is currently the TE7 on the season. Schultz was also mentioned here last week as someone you may want to consider adding. Don’t consider it now, just do it.
Since the Blake Jarwin injury,
Dalton Schultz averages
– 8.0 targets per 4 quarters (4th-most)
– 14.8 fantasy points 4 quarters (4th-most)— Scott Barrett (@ScottBarrettDFB) October 5, 2020
Robert Tonyan – 30 % rostered in Yahoo and 7% rostered in ESPN. Tonyan leads all tight ends in touchdowns, having scored 5 touchdowns in the past three weeks. Last night he had 6 receptions for 98 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Packers do have a bye next week, but it is a good time to stash him on your bench if you are TE needy.
Robert Tonyan has 3 touchdowns tonight. The New York Giants have 3 touchdowns all season.

Mo Alie-Cox – Rostered in 32% of Yahoo leagues and 21% of ESPN leagues. Big Mo didn’t see a lot of targets in Week 4. He only had 1 catch for 13 yards and a touchdown. He is currently the TE12 in scoring. If you need a TE and can’t get Schultz and all his targets, it is worth a shot.
