NOTE: If you are new around here this column refers to players rostered in under 50% of Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper leagues.
Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold
What doe Sam have to do? He was mentioned in this space last week. Through the first 4 games of the season, he is averaging 300 yards passing per game and he has been responsible for 2 or more touchdowns in each game either passing or rushing. The Eagles are up next but Darnold is getting it done against good and bad defenses. Currently, a top 5 quarterback in fantasy. Add him!

Daniel Jones
Jones has simply gotten it done over and over again. The game he should have smashed is his only letdown so far on the season. Jones threw for 402 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Saints in Week 4. Next up is the Cowboys who give up the 9th most points to quarterbacks in fantasy football.

Taylor Heinicke
Heinicke has scored over 20 points in all three games he has started. He has also thrown for multiple touchdowns in each of those three games. If you need a quarterback I would say add him. After the Saints this week he has a very favorable two weeks against the Chiefs and the Packers.

Other quarterbacks to consider: Trey Lance, Joe Burrow
Running Backs
Damien Williams
Davis Montgomery hurt his knee in Week 4. It looks right now like he may miss some time. Williams had 8 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown, and 2 receptions for 15 yards in relief of Montgomery. Williams fits what the Bears do on offense, and is available almost everywhere.

Samaje Perine
Perine has been playing on passing downs the last two weeks and appears to be the backup for Joe Mixon. Mixon has an ankle sprain that may keep him out of Week 5 as he is labeled as week to week. Perine looks like a nice plug & play option in Week 5 against the Packers.

Kenneth Gainwell
On Suinday, Gainwell was targeted 8 times out of the backfield and had 6 receptions for 58 yards. He also had 3 carries for 31 yards and a touchdown. Gainwell was only in on 39% of the snaps but clearly outproduced Miles Sanders with only 1 less touch than Sanders. Gainwell appears to be moving in for more work.

Other running backs to consider: Alex Collins, Jeremy McNichols, Latavius Murray, Brandon Bolden
Wide Receivers
Darnell Mooney
In week 4 Mooney had 7 targets for 5 receptions and 125 yards. He has seen 7 or more targets in 3 of the first 4 games of the season. His breakout is now. If you are hurting at WR the change at quarterback appears to favor Mooney in a big way.

Devante Parker
Parker turned 9 targets into 4 receptions, 77 yards, and a touchdown in Week 4. He has had a total of 32 targets over the first 4 games. If someone is getting an average of 8 targets per game they should be rostered, especially in PPR.

Jamison Crowder
Crowder finally hit the field in week 4. He was more than worth the wait as he had 9 targets for 7 receptions, 61 yards, and a touchdown. This guy always seems to produce good PPR numbers its shocking to me that he is available in so many leagues.

Tight Ends
Dawson Knox
I don’t know what more I can do to get you to add Knox, this is literally the third week in a row he has made this article. He had 41 yards in week 1 and followed that up with 2 receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown in week 2. Last week, Knox saw 5 targets which he turned into 4 receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. In Week 4, he had 5 receptions for 37 yards and 2 touchdowns. He is involved more every week, and he is a top 5 TE in fantasy right now.

Dalton Schultz
Schultz is currently a top 5 tight end in scoring on the season. His last two weeks have seen him take off with a total of 12 receptions (6 per week), 134 total yards, and 3 touchdowns. I can’t ignore this any longer. He is a thing in Dallas and should be a thing in your lineup.
